Non-surgical treatments are offered by our hygiene therapist Aoibheann Quigg and General Nurse, trained in Facial Aesthetics & Laser treatment, Kathrin Baumert who have several years’ experience in this field.
We offer non-surgical facial rejuvenation with dermal fillers and wrinkle smoothing injections. We are committed to tailor any treatment to you and aim to enhance your natural features, reducing, improving, and preventing the visible signs of ageing.
Anti-wrinkle injections relax the muscles that cause wrinkles forming, very tiny needles are injected into the area to be treated, with only minimal discomfort and results will be seen within the two weeks following treatment. This will last 3-4 months and can then be repeated. The product is also used for excessive underarm sweating, where the treatment can stop or improve this condition, called Hyperhidrosis, for as long as 6 months.
Hyaluronic acid fillers are injected to restore or enhance volume in areas such as lips, cheekbones, jawlines, chin, tear trough (under eyes) and other areas after thorough consultation with your practitioner. Fillers are not permanent and depending on age lifestyle and treated area can last 6 months or more.
Treatments are very safe and effective. Bruising may occur at the injection site. Some patients can experience a mild headache, stinging sensation, numbness or in extremely rare a temporary eyebrow drop, which may last a few weeks, redness, swelling.
The treatment takes around 15-30 minutes for anti-wrinkle and 45 minutes for filler, as we numb the area with a topical cream or local anaesthetic to make this as comfortable as possible.
We recommend you avoid exercise for 4 hours after treatment, avoid lying flat for 3 hours, drinking alcohol for 6 hours, the area should not be directly massaged for 3 days. Extreme sun exposure is not recommended.

A fine mist of nitrous oxide is directly targeting benign lesions such as skin tags, warts, cherry angiomas. This is a quick procedure and often only requires one treatment, however, in some cases a further visit is needed.
The appointment will take approximately 30 minutes or less for single lesions. After the fine mist of nitrous oxygen freezes the targeted area and may be repeated after the defrost. A minimal stinging or discomfort is experienced. No covering with a dressing is required, no follow-up is needed, and a normal daily activity can resume.
Redness, blistering, swelling and little discomfort may be experienced. A scab may form during the healing process. Sun exposure during healing may lead to pigmentation; avoiding this treatment is suggested in the winter months.

Chemical peels are tailored to the patient’s skin conditions. Most peels are suitable for all skin types and as the ingredients are natural acids that are well-tolerated. Patients with oily or acne prone skin, enlarged pores, pigments/uneven skin tone, fine lines and even scarring will find that the treatments as a single peel or a course can improve the condition, and the outcome is visible healthier looking skin.
After assessment of the skin, the skin is cleansed, and a thin layer of product is applied. The patient will feel a tingling sensation, or some describe it as more of a burning feeling. The intenseness depends on the strength of the peel used. The products are rinsed of after two minutes and a mild sensation will remain, but this will wear off soon after. Moisturiser is applied to improve this also and sunblock is advised. A course may be suggested for continuous improvement of the skin condition. The skin may appear red, and some patient’s skin can peel superficially.
Peeling skin, dry skin, redness, tingling sensation, itchiness. Rarely an allergic reaction occurs. Most of these side effect will improve after 72 hours. The skin may pigment if sun exposure cannot be avoided, and the patient is at risk of sunburn. We suggest the treatments commence in the winter months.
Sun exposure will lead to skin burning and pigmentation. If the skin is peeling, picking is to be avoided as this can result in scarring and bleeding.

Excessive sweating isn’t just uncomfortable – it can be genuinely disruptive. Hyperhidrosis causes uncontrollable sweating that goes far beyond what the body needs to regulate temperature. It commonly affects the underarms, hands, feet, and sometimes the face, even when you’re not hot or exercising.
At FM Dental, we offer clinically proven hyperhidrosis treatment using prescription-only anti-wrinkle injections. This treatment works by temporarily blocking the nerve signals that trigger overactive sweat glands, significantly reducing sweating for several months.
The result is simple: dryness, comfort, and confidence – without surgery or downtime.
Your clinician will assess the affected area, confirm suitability, and explain the procedure in detail. The treatment is quick and performed in-clinic.
Small, precise injections are placed into the treatment area. The procedure typically takes 20–30 minutes and is well tolerated. Most patients describe only mild discomfort.
You can return to normal daily activities immediately. Sweat reduction usually begins within 3–7 days, with full results developing over two weeks.
Results typically last 4–6 months, after which repeat treatment can be carried out if required.
ide effects are generally mild and temporary. They may include:
Minor redness or swelling at injection sites
Temporary bruising
Mild tenderness in the treated area
Rare temporary muscle weakness (depending on treatment area)
